BCC Loch Ness Hostel, Inverness

Loch Ness Hostel is a 5 star top quality, purpose built hostel (newly built in 2007) with superb facilities. All the Loch Ness Hostel rooms are en-suite and are tastefully decorated and equipped for the discerning traveller, welcoming individuals, families and groups. Each room has been individually designed with interiors chosen to compliment the natural colouring of the surrounding countryside. The floors throughout the Loch Ness Hostel have been tiled enabling a high standard of cleanliness to be maintained at all times. All furniture including beds, wardrobes, chest of drawers are made from solid oak and are enhanced by high quality sofas, coffee tables and accessories. For your entertainment each room has its own colour television, DVD Player and books and games. The rooms have their own large en-suite bathrooms comprising of either a bath or large walk-in shower. All rooms include bed linen and towel hire is available. It lies in the heart of one of Scotland's most stunning glens, enabling you to escape from the routine of modern life, relax and enjoy the magnificent views. This is an excellent base from which you may explore the world famous Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle, Glen Affric (National Nature Reserve) and Glen Strathfarrar which are renowned for their stunning beauty and variety of wildlife. Yet you are only 20 minutes drive from the historic city of Inverness. From the hostel there are 6 golf courses all within a 30 minute drive. It is ideally placed for hill walking, mountain biking, cycling, fishing and horse riding. Also as a stop off point for those travelling to the Isle of Skye.

Arrival information

Check In: 4.00pm Check Out: 10.00am Directions: From Inverness, follow the A82 (signposted Fort William), turn right onto the A831 and arrive at Drumnadrochit. Follow the signs for Cannich. The BCC Lochness Hostel is approximately 6 miles after the Cannich turn off. From Fort William, follow the A82 then turn left at the A831 to arrive at Drumnadrochit, then proceed as above.
