Located in the heart of the city, Christ Church is conveniently close to museums, shops and restaurants. If you are visiting Oxford during the Easter (March/April) and Summer (July, August, September) holiday periods, why not stay as guests of the college? The buildings of architectural and historical interest reflect the differing centuries since the college’s foundation. There are no lifts in any accommodation staircases, with some bedrooms up several flights of stairs, making them unsuitable for those with mobility needs. We have limited number of ground and first floor rooms, so if you have any access requirements please include the details in the additional information box at the time of booking. Christ Church offers rooms for single or twin occupancy. Ensuite bedrooms have their own basin, shower and toilet within the room. Standard rooms have their own basin but shared bathroom and toilet facilities. Please note: you may have to go up or down two or three flights of stairs from your bedroom to the nearest facilities. We are unable to accept bookings for Stag and Hen groups and we can only accommodate adults (aged 18 and over). This includes babies/children sharing a room with adults. (If such a booking is made you will be asked to cancel it and an admin fee will apply).

Find out more about Christ Church and its history here. A cooked and continental breakfast is provided in the unique setting of the Great Hall with its stunning hammer beam roof and wonderful oil paintings. Breakfast is self-select, but if you have any queries due to an allergy or intolerance, please speak to a member of staff. Monday – Saturday: 0730 – 0900, Sunday: 0800 – 0930 Oxford has many places to dine either for lunch, dinner or food on the go – for local suggestions see the information provided in the ‘Guest Information’ booklet in your room. The Masters' Garden is open during daylight hours, a lovely place to walk or sit and enjoy the view. Christ Church is unique amongst the Oxford Colleges for its wonderful Meadow which is full of wildlife and is home to Christ Church's own long-horn cattle. There is a beautiful tree-lined walk down to the river Isis.
