Constructed around 1830, the Cotswold Grange was formerly the salubrious country retreat for a London solicitor and still retains many fine spacious rooms with high ceilings and ornate features from that era. The architecture and history of Cotswold Grange make it an interesting and unique place to stay. The elegant dining room has beautiful ornate details and remarkable almost floor-to-ceiling windows creating a unique ambience. A full English breakfast is freshly cooked to order and served in the Dining Room, weekdays 7.15am - 9.00am, Saturday 8.00am - 9.30am, Sunday 8.30am -10.00am. Ingredients are sourced locally and include traditional hand-made sausages and bacon. The restaurant serves Modern British/European Cuisine with the focus on using quality fresh local ingredients in simply prepared dishes cooked with finesse. The menu is accompanied by a concise but varied selection of fine wines with a good balance of Old and New Worlds. A well stocked bar is located on the ground floor and is a pleasant place to relax. The hotel is set well back from the road and one of the assets is the attractive secluded garden. Situated at the rear of the hotel, there is an ornamental pond and benches in the garden where guests can relax, chat and enjoy drinks. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms or shower rooms with complimentary toiletries, comfortable mattresses and crisp bed linen, flat screen TVs with Freeview channels and radio, hospitality tray with tea / coffee making facilities and selection of biscuits, work desk and free wireless internet access.

Continue to follow A40. Turn left at A40/Sandford Rd. Turn left at A46/College Rd. Slight left at A435/Hewlett Rd. Go over the 1st roundabout. Turn right at A435/Pittville Circus Rd. Turn left at Moorcourt Drive and arrive at Cotswold Grange Hotel. From London (M4). At junction 15, take the A346/A419 exit to Marlborough/Swindon. At Plough Hill roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A419/Marlborough Rd heading to Swindon/Cirencester. Go straight over 2 roundabouts. Continue on A417. Take the exit toward Pike Rd. Turn right at Pike Rd. Turn right toward A435. Continue on A435/Cirencester Rd. Slight left at A40/London Rd. Continue to follow London Rd. Turn right at A435/Hewlett Rd. Go over 1 roundabout. Turn right at A435 / Pittville Circus Rd. Turn left at Moorcourt Drive and arrive at Cotswold Grange Hotel. Nearest Train Station: Cheltenham Spa Train Station is a 10 minute taxi ride.
