Only a twenty-minute stroll to the city, with lots of free unrestricted parking, husband and wife team, Chris and Louise offer a friendly and professionally run guesthouse. With four bedrooms, all light and airy with ensuite facilities. Each room offers the comforts of home and more, with up-to-date magazines, a hospitality tray, and an alarm clock. If planning a longer stay in Bath, Laburnum Cottage is a charming, split-level cottage, ideal for a couple or a family of up to four. The cottage has a fully-fitted kitchen with washing machine, a spacious living area and sleeping area upstairs. Bath is truly a beautiful city, best enjoyed at a slower pace. Although, it is recommended the open top bus tour for ‘newbies’ to the city, there is nothing better than simply strolling around the streets enjoying the buskers and soaking up the atmosphere whilst admiring all the fantastic architecture.

A restored Victorian terrace, formerly a Victorian grocery and provisions store. A hearty continental breakfast is served between 8.00am-9.00am with the option of a cooked breakfast which includes; sausages, back bacon, fresh mushrooms, grilled tomato and a farm-bought egg. Or for a lighter bite, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, toast, jams and preserves. For dinner close by, the Devonshire Arms serves pub food just next door and 3 minutes down the hill is another pub, an Indian restaurant and a gourmet restaurant. Devonshire House offers free on-street parking and secure parking for guests booking Laburnum Cottage. There is a bus stop just a few hundred yards away and buses stop approximately every 10 minutes during the day, taking guests to the bus station in the city centre. Alternatively, it is just a 20-minute downhill walk to the city, or £8 in a taxi. All bedrooms are equipped with the following facilities; alarm clock, radio, television with freeview channels, tea/coffee making facilities with the option of fresh milk, CD player, DVD player, linen and towels, free Wi-Fi, fans and hairdryer. An iron and ironing board is available for guest use.
