Dunalastair Hotel Suites is a privately owned Victorian hotel, located in the village square of Kinloch Rannoch, on the edge of Loch Rannoch and the 'Schiehallion' mountain. The suites have been designed with style and comfort in mind. Decorated in shades of grey, blues and salmon. Each Suite contains a 40” television, Queen or King sized bed, robe, slippers and most have a large, comfortable sofa that can also be extended to a bed – perfect for families. Dunalastair Hotel Suites overlooks the river and waterfall and is surrounded by stunning natural scenery, well known for hiking, fishing and golfing. Pitlochry is only 20 miles from the hotel and Loch Tummel within a 30-minute drive. When flying in Perth, Glasgow and Edinburgh airports all service the area.

Dunalastair Hotel was first converted into a hotel at the turn of the last century and originally constructed as a Highland Sporting Lodge. In 2014 a multi-million-pound refurbishment was launched, whereby the hotel can now offer 32 luxury suites along with a fine dining restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner. An individual Perthshire hotel of true pedigree set in the heart of Kinloch Rannoch, welcome to your home away from home. Kinloch Rannoch is a hub for tourism, farming and forestry. The residents are as friendly and welcoming as the picturesque scenery surrounding them. Situated in the shadow of Schiehallion (a munro and an excellent climb), Kinloch Rannoch boasts some lovely walks: Carie Forest, by the South Loch Road; along the waterfall that feeds into the River Tummel and up Craig Varr; the Sleeping Giant or alongside Loch Rannoch itself. One thing is certain, there simply isn’t enough time in the day to enjoy everything the Highlands have to offer. Each suite contains a compact kitchen with kettle, toaster, microwave combi oven, fridge. The team at Edina's are on hand daily from 8am to 9pm with a warm welcome and a selection of succulent full Scottish breakfasts, light lunches, snacks, hearty and delicious traditional Scottish dishes, or simply a hot tea or coffee. The menu is varied and includes a selection of vegetarian options. other dietary requirements will be accommodated where possible. Set in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, the choices are boundless from wildlife, lochs, mountains, watersports, stalking, hiking trails, cycling routes and much more – all a stone’s throw away for the Scottish sanctuary that is Dunalastair Hotel Suites. Guests can relax in the lounge overlooking the enclosed courtyard or dine in Edina's from 8 am – 9 pm for breakfast, lunch and dinner, where they can sample locally sourced food and fresh ingredients all home made in the open plan kitchen. Arrival information

Check-in: Between 3pm to 8pm. Check Out: By 11:00am. If guests wish to check in after 8pm, please call the hotel reception directly to organise a later check in time. Kinloch Rannoch is in the centre of the Scottish Highlands, northwest of Aberfeld and west of Pitlochry. Glasglow, Dundee and Edinburgh are just a two-hour drive away. By train, Rannoch station is the closest, and the Dunalastair Hotel Suites offer a shuttle service between the station and the hotel.
