Located within the heart of Lanarkshire, Hamilton is well-served with travel links and is centrally located just eleven miles south of Glasgow. Burns Country, Loch Lomond, the Trossachs as well as the cultural cities of Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling are all within easy reach. The main rail line from London and the Midlands to Glasgow is ten minutes from Hamilton, and there is also a fast and frequent service from Hamilton to Glasgow. The campus is also within two hours of Stranraer and Cairnryan ferry terminals. Offering single study bedrooms in purpose-built flats that include open-plan kitchen and lounge area, bathroom/shower facilities, as well as a wash area in each room. Hamilton offers lots to see and do, such as first-class sporting and leisure activities, including football, rugby, golf, tennis, ten-pin bowling, swimming and horse riding. The recently-regenerated town centre also offers plenty of shopping options as well as a new 9-screen cinema, theatre and a host of diverse pubs, nightclubs and restaurants. The accommodation is offered on a self catering basis, with shared fully equipped kitchen for guest use. There are a number of bars and restaurants in Hamilton. There are a number of country parks and nature reserves such as Strathclyde Park which is situated between Hamilton and nearby Motherwell. There is a Roman Fort and a bath house at the Park and there is a M&D's theme park, an indoor Tropical Rainforest packed with exotic birds. Strathclyde Park Golf Course is located on the Hamilton side of the M74 Motorway, Junction 6. The course is a 3113 yard, par 36, 9 hole course set amongst mature woods and parklands adjoining Strathclyde Country Park. The course is bordered by Hamilton Racecourse on one side and a nature reserve on the other. It is a very popular golf course with residents and visitors. Internet Access and laundry facilities.

The accommodation is 5 minutes walk from Hamilton West Train Station. By Bus: The number 201, 263 (First Glasgow) passes the accommodaiton. By Air: Glasgow International Airport and then a train.
