The Old Manse Hotel in Pickering is a fine Edwardian North Yorkshire Hotel with many original features, including a large garden and orchard. The Old Manse is situated a few minutes from the North Yorkshire Moors Railway Station and the town centre of Pickering. Set in a spectacular part of North Yorkshire being close to the county market towns of Pickering, Malton, Helmsley, and Kirkbymoorside, each with a wealth of historic background. Choose from single, twin, double, half tester and four poster rooms which are all ensuite and many have lovely views over the garden. For guests with limited mobility, there is a ground floor room which is suitable for wheelchairs (not electric) with additional grab rails in the bathroom.

Pickering gives its name to the flat Vale of Pickering that lies between the Yorkshire Wolds to the south and the North York Moors to the north. The coast and the town of Scarborough can be found on the eastern flank of the vale. On its western side, the vale continues into the Vale of York near Easingwold. The Vale of Pickering is drained by the River Derwent, which rises near Hackness in the North York Moors. Flowing south for a short distance it comes within a few miles of Scarborough on the coast but surprisingly flows west, even though the east coast is only a few miles away. The Old Manse is a traditional Edwardian property which still retains many original features. Full English and continental breakfast served between 8.00am-9.30am using fresh products locally sourced. The dining room offers both dinner and bar menu of the highest quality cuisine. The Old Manse Hotel can also cater for vegetarians, vegans, gluten-free and other special diets, with a large selection of options available. The dining room can cater for up to 30 people in pleasant and comfortable surroundings. Facilities are also available to provide a venue for business meetings and lunches. There is a terrace available for guest to use which overlooks the mature gardens and orchard. A relaxing lounge and conservatory are available for guests to enjoy. The Old Manse Hotel can accommodate group bookings for up to 18 guests and also provide evening meals with a choice menu. With Dalby Forest close by, The Old Manse Hotel also offer Bike Storage in a garage at the Hotel (at the owners risk).
