The Cottage has a relaxed spacious country style, with wood burning stove combined with modern luxuries. Fully equipped with high-quality furnishings.

Beamish is a village in County Durham. The mining village of Beamish is best known for its award winning Open Air Museum. The museum tells the story of the people of North East England during the Georgian, Victorian, and Edwardian times - transport yourself and your family back in time! The Riding Cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher. Local dining options are available within driving distance. Evening meals can be ordered in advance by contacting the property management team in advance. The cottage has a private and secure patio which is a real sun spot and there is ample private parking. Arrival information

Check In: From 4.00pm. Check Out: By 10.00am. Directions: From Durham head north toward Stockton Road (A177) and turn right onto Stockton Road, at the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Hallgarth Street and continue onto New Elvet, at the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Leazes Road (A690) and continue to follow A690. Go through one roundabout and at the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto the A1(M) ramp to Newcastle/Gateshead and merge onto A1(M), continue on the A1 and take the A167 exit toward Gateshead (South). At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Newcastle Bank (A167) and turn right toward Moormill Lane and left onto The Crescent, continue onto Kibblesworth Bank and turn left onto Riding Lane and the destination will be on the left. Nearest Train Station: Chester Le Street approximately 5 miles. Nearest Airport: Newcastle approximately 19 miles.
