Close to London’s South Bank Arts Centre and the West End, Stamford Street Apartments is a modern residence behind a period facade, five minutes’ walk from Waterloo Station offering ensuite single rooms for budget travellers. All rooms at Stamford Street Apartments are singles, have a desk, wardrobe, an ensuite shower, toilet and sink with toiletries, towels and bed linen provided.

King's College London was founded by King George IV and the Duke of Wellington (then Prime Minister) in 1829 as a university college in the tradition of the Church of England. It now welcomes staff and students of all faiths and beliefs. King's professors played a major part in nineteenth-century science, and in extending higher education to women, working men and through evening classes. Self-catering for individuals is permitted in the shared kitchen, but guests must provide their own crockery, cutlery and utensils as these are not supplied. Breakfast is included in the room rate (unless otherwise stated on the room type title booked, please note that some rooms are offered as Room only). Where breakfast is included there are 2 options, Full English or Continental and is served across the road in the Waterloo campus cafeteria between 7.30 -10.30am daily. Full English: (Select any 5 items): Grilled Bacon, Sausage, Baked Beans, Fried Egg, Mushrooms, Hash Browns x 2. Continental: Selection of Cereal, Yoghurt, Fresh Fruit, Croissants & Pastries, Ham & Cheese, Hard Boiled Eggs, Toast & Jam, Orange, Apple & Cranberry Juice, Tea & Coffee. The area around the South Bank offers a large array of restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. Wi-Fi internet access is available free of charge. Luggage may be left (subject to availability) for a few hours at the reception at guests own risk on the day of check-in/check-out.

Check In: From 2.00pm Check Out: By 10.00am On arrival please report to the Reception, which is manned 24 hours per day. Directions: From Waterloo Station, you need to exit onto York Road and turn right. Carry on down this road until you come to the roundabout where the IMAX cinema is located. Go straight ahead at the roundabout and you will be on Stamford Street. Stamford Street Apartment Rooms are just 200 yards away on the right. By Car: Unfortunately, the property does not offer parking. Please note that central London operates a Congestion Charge zone between the hours of 7am-6.30pm Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays. The current daily charge when entering the zone is £11.50, to find out more and how to pay please visit the following website www.cclondon.com Rail and Tube: Waterloo Station, which connects you to the Bakerloo, Waterloo & City, Northern and Jubilee lines, is the closest station to Stamford Street Apartment Rooms. A taxi could cost around £10 from station to the residence. By Bus: Two bus routes go through Stamford Street: 381 - County Hall/ Peckham, RV1 - Covent Garden/Tower Hill. However, a short 2-minute walk to either end of the street brings access to a large number of routes of the following are a small example: 63 - Forest Hill/Kings Cross, 1 - Oxford St/ Canada Water, 4 - Waterloo/Archway, 26 - Waterloo/Hackney Wick, 507 - Waterloo/Victoria Bus Station.
