Arrival information

Check In: From 3.00pm Check Out: By 10.00am Directions: By Car: From The South West, South Wales and The North West of England: Take the A44 from Evesham towards Oxford, passing though the town of Broadway. Having climbed the famous Dovers’ Hill, look out for the B4479 on your left, signposted Blockley/Paxford. If you descend through the village of Bourton on the Hill, you have just missed the turning! Follow the B4479 through Blockley, past the local brickworks and across the railway crossing. You will enter Paxford village in approximately 1 mile. From the beautiful small town of Chipping Campden, 2.5 miles west of Paxford, proceed to the top of the main street and take the turning to the left signposted, Stratford upon Avon and Shipston on Stour (B4006). Approx 1.3 miles after leaving the town, take the right turning marked Paxford. This lane leads directly to the village, so turn right at the end, and the Churchill Arms is 400 yards on your left. From The East and South East of England Take the A44 from Oxford towards Chipping Norton and Moreton in Marsh, continuing on the A44 towards Broadway/Evesham until reaching the crest of the hill after the village of Bourton on the Hill. The signposted B4479 takes you through Blockley and into Paxford village. From London, take the M40 north to Junction 9, then heading west (not Bicester) towards the Oxford/Woodstock junction with the A44. Take the A44 to the north, and follow the directions via Moreton in Marsh in the paragraph above. From the South of England Take the Fosse Way from Cirencester, via Stow on the Wold to Moreton in Marsh. At the first roundabout, turn left onto the A44 towards Broadway/Evesham and up through Bourton on the Hill. At the top of the hill, turn left on to the B4479 as directed above. From Stratford Upon Avon, Solihull, Warwick and Leamington Spa, take the Fosse Way (A429) south, towards Moreton in Marsh. At the junction marked Chipping Campden/Shipston on Stour (B4006), turn left towards Chipping Campden. Take the 3rd turning left towards Paxford (marked Northcote/Blockley Business Parks) and follow the lane (B4479) into Paxford village. The Churchill Arms is on your left. By Train: Paxford is located 5½ miles from the rail station of Moreton in Marsh, on the London Paddington to Worcester mainline. Regular trains serve the station, 7 days per week. The North-West and South-West of the UK are accessed via Evesham Station, served by the Birmingham/Bristol/Exeter mainline, where frequent services operate daily. Taxis are available at both stations, and the property would be delighted to arrange for private transport to meet guests at the either stations.
