This family-run hotel near Kirby Lonsdale is ideal for exploring the Lakes and Yorkshire Dales and has an indoor heated swimming pool, traditional log fires and free Wi-Fi. The hotel has a number of individually furnished rooms including four poster rooms. Kirkby Lonsdale is an attractive market town and an ideal base from which to explore some of England’s most beautiful countryside. Whoop Hall is positioned in the rolling countryside of North-West England, where Cumbria, Lancashire and the coastline of Morecambe Bay are all within easy reach. All guests staying at The Whoop Hall can also enjoy full use of the hotel's leisure facilities which include an 18-metre swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room, sun shower and state-of-the-art fitness studio. Whoop Hall also has its own Bliss beauty salon.

Whoop Hall was built in 1618 and still retains many original features such as open log fires. Kirkby Lonsdale is a historic market town just inside the south east boundary of Cumbria, on the River Lune. Full English or a continental breakfast is included and are served in Turner's Bistro between 7.30am-10.00am and at weekends from 8.00am-10.00am. Connor’s Restaurant converted from a barn, sits on several levels, and features a minstrel gallery complete with oak beams, there is a varied menu to choose from. The comfortable bar host’s traditional hand-pulled ales and roaring log fires. Live music is played in the bar several nights a week. Relax in the comfortable lounge area. Lunch and dinner are served from 12.00pm. In the summer months enjoy al fresco dining on the terrace, overlooking spectacular, panoramic views of the open countryside of three counties - Cumbria, Lancashire and Yorkshire. Children can enjoy the adventure playground. Guests can use complimentary leisure facilities at the hotels Country Club that include an 18m swimming pool, spa, sauna, steam room, sun shower and state of the art fitness studio. Arrival information

Check In: 1.00pm. Check Out: 11.00am. Directions: From the M6 from the north or south, exit at Junction 36 and take the A65 eastwards, signed to Skipton. After 6 miles, as passing the town of Kirkby Lonsdale, cross over the River Lune. Whoop Hall is on your right. Travelling from the east, take the A65 signposted for Skipton and Kendal. Once through the town of Ingleton, you will find Whoop Hall a mile beyond the village of Cowan Bridge.
