This 450 year old castle offers all the character of the past together with comforts that today's visitor expects from an award winning hotel. Fernie Castle has twenty individually appointed bedrooms all of which are en-suite and boast the usual refinements of today’s requirements. The Treehouse suite is perched in 6 lofty sycamores in its own glade, especially designed with three balconies offering views over the countryside. Discounted rates for longer stays from May to September are available. Please see Available Rooms for the promotion codes.

The ancient Castle of Fernie was first recorded in 1353 when it belonged to the Earl of Fife - Duncan the 13th. The Keep Bar dates back to 1530. Dinner may be enjoyed in the Auld Alliance Room, with its massive Georgian chandelier, fresh flowers and candles, all reflected in a huge mirror. The Keep Bar dating from 1530 serves a full range of cocktails and drinks. The Turret Bistro is available for more informal dining and there is a quieter residents lounge on the first floor. Situated in 17 acres of woodlands with its own lochan, perfect for walks or just to relax and take in the scenery. Wi fi is available within the castle. Parking is readily available.
