The Inn On The Green is a popular public house and restaurant set in the heart of the Surrey Hills opposite Ockley village green. The Inn combines "olde worlde" charm with a contemporary outlook. The Inn On The Green is recommended in the Good Pub Guide and offers superb bar food and a wide range of beers and wines. It offers comfortable ensuite bed and breakfast accommodation, regular live music and a large, enclosed rear garden with a children's play area and plenty of room for your dog.
The Inn on the Green, formally named The Red Lion, was built in the 15th Century. Many of the original features still remain such as the exposed beamed bar, open fires and low ceilings. A continental breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 8.00am to 10.00am and Saturday and Sunday from 9.00am to 10.00am. For customers looking for a fine dining experience and an à la Carte menu, The Green Rooms' offers traditional English food with a French twist. Made using locally-sourced ingredients all the food is cooked freshly, to order and served in a very comfortable conservatory area. For a lighter meal, a bar menu is available. There is a large beer garden with a shelter and heaters and an enclosed children's play area for younger guests to enjoy. Dogs are welcome.
