The Havelock is centrally located in Shanklin a few minutes walk from the local shops, bars, restaurants and the beach. The property has a licensed bar which serves drinks and snacks and there is a heated swimming pool which is open mid May to mid September. The B&B has 22 ensuite bedrooms all of which have been recently renovated to include comfortable pocket sprung beds, flat screen TV's, contemporary furniture, tea and coffee making facilities, WiFi and many have sea views. The Havelock was built in the 1860's as a gentleman's residence and was extended in the 1960's to offer additional accommodation. Breakfast is served 7.00am - 8.30am and consists of a Full English breakfast, also available are, cereals, fresh fruit salad, grapefruit, prunes, greek yoghurt, fruit juices, croissants, fresh bread, homemade jams and marmalades, unlimited tea, coffee & toast. Vegetarian and gluten free diets can also be catered for by prior arrangement, all our eggs are free range. Snacks are available at additional cost from 12.00pm to 5.00pm and include ploughmans lunches, toasted sandwiches and fresh homemade sandwiches. Many local restaurants and pubs available within a couple of minutes walk away in Shanklin Old Village or on Shanklin seafront. Enjoy the award winning gardens at the front of the property with a terrace and seating, where you can sit and watch the ships pass by. There is decking with seating at the rear with a heated swimming pool. Free WiFi is available in the guest lounge and most of the bedrooms. For guests arriving prior to our 2pm check-in time, there is the facility to securely store luggage and a key safe is available for late arrivals.

Turn right onto Blackwater Hollow and continue to follow A3020, turn left onto School Road and go through the roundabout then turn left onto High Street (A3055) and turn right onto Palmerston Road and take the 2nd right onto Queen's Road (B3328) and the destination will be on the left. Nearest Train Station: Shanklin which is a few minutes walk.
