Offering summer accommodation in Central London, the historically listed Beit Hall is one of Imperial College’s most prominent buildings. Hyde Park and the Royal Albert Hall are less than a minute walk away. Many of the bedrooms offer pleasant views over Beit Quadrangle or the Royal Albert Hall. Each bedroom features free tea and coffee making facilities. Linen, towels and toiletries are provided. Beit Hall is located within easy walking distance of South Kensington and Gloucester Road Tube stations and attractions including the Natural History Museum, Science Museum and Victoria and Albert Museum and Harrods department store. It is a great place for diverse activities, with the tranquility of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, the racey pace of Kensington and Knightsbridge and the ever educational world of renowned Museums in South Kensington. Beit Hall is one of Imperial College London Student residences and is open to the public during the summer holidays. Please note that under 18's are not allowed at Beit Hall.

Founded in 1907, Imperial is the UK's leading science, technology and medicine university. Buffet Style Full English and Continental is available to book. Breakfast is served in the Sherfield Building on campus, which is approximately a 3-minute walk from the accommodation. Breakfast times: between 7.00am and 10.00am on weekdays and 7.30am - 10.00am on weekends. (Breakfast must be booked at time of booking) Kitchens are not available in Beit Hall. Snacks and light meals are available on campus throughout the day from various outlets. Food and drink vending machines can be found onsite. Eastside Bar and Restaurant The Eastside Bar and Restaurant serves a delicious range of 'gastro-pub' style dishes perfect for lunch or dinner, as well as a superb range of ales and wines, teas and coffees. Conveniently located on the ground floor of the Eastside Halls of Residence, this venue is on the doorstep of any guest staying in Prince's Gardens or Beit Hall. Eastside is open daily from 12.00 to 9.00pm Monday to Thursday and from 11.00am to 11.00pm on Fridays. Guests staying in Beit Hall, can enjoy use of the leafy Prince's Gardens themselves. As London's only privately-owned public square, the Gardens offer a beautiful green tranquil space in the heart of central London. For those who want to venture out of the College grounds, Hyde Park is a short walk away and offers vast green space and with its own lake. Free wifi Internet access is available to guests for the duration of your stay. Located on the north side of Prince's Gardens, Ethos Sports Centre offers 25m swimming pool complete with sauna, steam room and spa, fitness gym, exercise studio for classes, sports hall for badminton, table tennis, basketball and 5-a-side football, climbing wall, three squash courts, treatments. Guests are welcome to use the gym and swimming pool free of charge, subject to available capacity. To book your free entry to Ethos gym and swimming pool, details, age restrictions and opening times, please speak to Beit hall reception team. Please note that the free entry applies to the gym and swimming pool only; charges apply for the use of all other facilities. Please also note that some evenings the pool may be closed for block bookings. Cashless laundry facilities available. A wash cycle is £2.10 and a dry cycle is £1.10. Internet access in each room. Laundry cards can be purchased from Reception (min. value £5.00).

Arrival information

Reception is open 24 hours, 7 days a week. Please note that overnight parking on site is limited and needs to be pre-booked at least 7 days in advance. Overnight parking available from 6pm until 10:00 am - £20.00 per night special rate for Summer guests. Directions: At South Kensington station, turn right into the subway sign-posted for the museums and continue for approx. 5 minutes until you reach the very end of the subway (Exit 3).
