The Black Bull Inn, a privately owned free house pub restaurant with bed & breakfast accommodation that has resided at the heart of the tranquil historic village of Balsham, Cambridgeshire since the 16th Century. More recently it has been the focus of a stunning transformation, whilst remaining sensitive to many of its charming Grade II Listed features. Five luxurious 4 star "Gold" AA awarded guest rooms provide guests with superior comfort before exploring Cambridge, Newmarket and the many delightful villages nearby. Accommodation is located in a separate ground floor “mews” style accommodation, separate from the thatched pub by about 20 yards. All five rooms are superking double or twin, all with a bath/shower, except the largest room, which just has a stand-alone shower. The Black Bull Inn attracts people from far and wide to this beautiful area on the Cambridge/Suffolk border and has naturally become a popular choice for those wishing to savour a treat of a weekend break or mid-week stay. The Black Bull is situated 8 miles south east of Cambridge, 7 miles south of Newmarket and 6 miles west of Haverhill. Situated minutes away from Chilford Hall, a 10 minute drive from Granta Park and 15 minutes from Addenbrookes and Babraham Research Centre.

A 16th Century Inn which has been welcoming guests for hundreds of years. The inn retains many of its Grade II original features such as low beams, valuted ceilings and fireplaces.
