Cedars Hotel & Conference Centre is a 36 bedroom hotel set in the grounds of the Whiteknights campus at The University of Reading. Avoid the hustle and bustle of Reading town centre and enjoy the peaceful setting of the campus which has free parking, plenty of facilities and beautiful grounds to keep you occupied. In the room you will find free wireless internet (password provided in the guest information book), a digital TV, hairdryer, soft linen and large fluffy towels. The rooms are en suite with large walk in showers and luxury toiletries for guest use.
The rates do not include breakfast but it can be purchased directly from the campus catering cafeterias. The breakfast is served in Eat at the Square and includes both full english and continental. Its magnificent setting is one of the University’s greatest attractions. Many hectares of mature parkland provide the backdrop to an interesting mix of traditional and modern architecture to create a unique campus atmosphere. On the wider campus you will be able to explore the many acres of woodland, visit the Harris gardens. Work out at the Sports Park, wonder around the many acres of parkland and wooded areas on campus, visit the film theatre in the Palmer building or eat and drink at one of the several restaurants and cafes on campus.

Please come to the reception desk in Park House on arrival (situated just next to Cedars Hotel) where you can check in. If arriving out of hours we have a seperate procedure for this which again will be explained to you when you book. Directions: By Car: Please use the Shinfield road or Pepper Lane entrances. Once on campus please follow the signs to Black Horse House which are by the side of the road. If using Satnav please use postcode RG6 6UR to find the campus. By Bus: There are several buses which run direct onto campus from the station (20 & 21) as well as free parking offered to all Black Horse House guests. By Rail: The closest railway station is Reading main. From here it is a short £5-7 taxi ride to the University or jump on of the buses which go onto campus.
