Churchfield House is situated in the centre of the village of Carlton Scroop, near Grantham, Lincolnshire. This very comfortable family single storey house is set in lovely gardens surrounded by fields and is a superb bed and breakfast base from which to tour Lincolnshire. Nearby towns of Newark, Lincoln and National Trust houses of Burghley House, Stamford, Belvoir Castle, Rutland and Belton House, Lincolnshire. With two double bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with twin beds. Both rooms share a private bathroom and the second room would only be let to members of the same party. One double with en-suite for a minimum of two nights is also available. Tea and coffee making facilities are included and electric blankets are available for those very cold nights.
Churchfield House was built in the 60's on Glebe land hence the name of Churchfield House. Breakfast is included in the tariff. A light two-course supper can be provided from £17.50 per person, with a third course for an extra £5 per person to include a glass of wine. When weather permits you can enjoy breakfast or dinner on the terrace. Found in the centre of the village near the 13th Century Church this family house is set in a well stocked garden with unusual plants and a comprehensive vegetable potager which adds a finishing touch. All produce served to guests are from the garden or locally grown. All guests are invited to use the drawing room with television for their own personal use. A selection of daily papers are provided for guests use.
Directions: Take the A607 Grantham to Lincoln road. On reaching Carlton Scroop, take the first left for Hough Lane. Churchfield House is the last house on the left.
