Part of the University of London, College Hall provides accommodation during the summer months, offering affordable and comfortable accommodation for visitors in the heart of London. Based in the Bloomsbury area of the city, College Hall is within short walking distance from the British Library, the British Museum, Senate House and is very centrally located with most of the major attractions, landmarks and the river Thames being within walking distance or a short bus or tube ride away. College Hall offers single and double ensuite rooms with breakfast included. There is also a common room and TV room in the hall. Please note that due to improvement works there will be only one lift in operation servicing all floors and some of the communal areas might not be accessible.

College Hall was opened in 1882 in Byng Place to provide accommodation for the rising numbers of female students at the University of London. It was recognised as a hall of residence for women students by the Senate of the University of London in 1910. In 1932 they found that the Byng Place site was not large enough for a proposed new hall and moved to its current site on Malet Street. College Hall has recently undergone a major renovation/building project and only re-opened in October 2007. Breakfast is included in the room rate and consists of a variety of options, including the traditional full English, 7 days per week. Breakfast times are: Mon - Sun 08.00-09.30am There is a small open-air shopping mall at the end of the street with fashion shops, supermarket, several restaurants, coffee shops and a fabulous patisserie. Bloomsbury is packed full of trendy bars, restaurants and cafes. Due to the area`s diversity and culture, you can experience tastes from all around the globe. Russell Square public park is a 3 minute walk from College Hall. WiFi connection available in the communal areas and bedrooms. Connection details for WiFi can be obtained from reception.
