Located in the green suburb of North Oxford, this guest house is highly commended and has featured in the Inspector Morse books. The hosts offer a warm welcome and create a relaxed atmosphere. Oxford itself is only 2 miles away and the guest house is well located for access to the Cotswolds and the restaurants, cafes and shops of local Summertown. All the rooms have ensuites and are furnished to a high standard with complimentary hospitality trays and spa water, wall-mounted televisions and ample off-street parking.
Breakfast is served Monday - Friday 7.30am - 9.30am and Saturday and Sunday 8.00am - 9.15am in the Cotswold-styled dining room. Consisting of a traditional English breakfast, cooked to order, and selection of cereals and fresh fruit. Continental and vegetarian options can be provided on request. The gardens are available for use exclusively to guests staying in the deluxe ensuite.
Directions: From Oxford city centre head north on Alfred St toward High Street (A420) then turn left onto High Street, take the 1st left onto St. Aldate's and turn right onto Thames Street, continue to follow A420 and then turn right onto Hythe Bridge Street (A4144). Turn right onto Beaumont Street and take the 2nd left onto St. Giles, continue to follow A4165 and Cotswold B&B will be on the left. Cotswold House is two miles from Oxford city centre and is on a direct bus route alternatively a taxi into the city centre will cost approximately £6.00.
