Cyncoed Halls are located on Cyncoed Campus which is north of Cardiff city centre and easily accessible from the M4 (A48M). There is ample car parking available on site, the city centre can be accessed easily by taking the number 52 or 52A bus directly from the Campus. The Campus offers both single and deluxe ensuite rooms which are sold on a room only basis. The deluxe rooms have 3/4 size beds suitable for 2 people sharing. On arrival the room will be provided with bed linen and 2 towels. Bedrooms are in flats of 8 - 15 with shared kitchen facilities.

The shared kitchen consists of a fridge, microwave and hob, but you will need to bring your own cutlery, crockery and pans, as these are not provided. Tea & coffee making facilities are provided in the kitchens. Cooking: Guests are responsible for their own Health & Safety and Food Hygiene implications. A responsible adult must be present at all times. Guests are to provide their own equipment, which must be in good working condition. Please clean the kitchen after use. Please be considerate to other guests in the flat. Within a 10 minute walk there is a small shopping area with supermarkets close by. Within 20 minutes you will reach an extensive shopping area where there are plenty of restaurants, cafés and boutiques. The main refectory and coffee lounge, located on site, are available (subject to opening times) for hot meals, hot and cold drinks and snacks. There is a green area on campus which is ideal for sitting out should the UK weather allow. Within 10 minutes you can walk to Roath Park and Lake, where you can go boating, feed the ducks, have a coffee or just relax and enjoy the scenery. On campus you will find a gym, swimming pool, squash courts, indoor tennis courts, which are all available to guests on a pay-as-you-go basis. Car Parking is £2.00 per day Monday to Friday and 50p after 4pm as well as on a Saturday and Sunday, payable via Pay & Display machine (correct change is required or you can pay by bank card). You can pre pay for parking using the "Park Indigo" parking app - search for Cyncoed and follow the instructions. Wifi: 24 hour free wifi access is available. Please click here for information on how to register. Noise: Please keep noise to a minimum and be considerate of local residents and other guests in the flat, especially if returning late. There are Freeview TVs in all kitchens.

Arrival Information: On arrival go to Main Reception in the main building to collect the keys - open 24 hours a day. Please familiarise yourself with the evacuation procedure in your room. There is a £40 charge for any keys not returned. How to Find Us: By Car: (Sat Nav CF23 6BN) From the M4 travelling West: Take junction 29 onto A48 (M) Eastern Avenue. Come off at Llanedeyrn junction, signposted ‘Cardiff East & Docks’. Head towards Llanedeyrn. At mini roundabout take 1st exit. At the end of Llanedeyrn Road take a right at traffic lights. You are now on Cyncoed Road, follow road, shortly after pedestrian crossing take a right into Cyncoed Campus. From M4 travelling East: At junction 30 (Cardiff Gate) take A4232 North Pentwyn link road to A48 (M). Join A48(M) towards Cardiff. To Cyncoed Campus Follow same directions as from no. 2 – 6 (above). From North Wales – A470: Follow the A470 towards the City Centre. When you reach Gabalfa roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A48. Come off at Llanedeyrn junction, signposted ‘Cardiff East & Docks’. At roundabout take 1st exit. Follow same directions as from no. 4 – 6 (above).
