Glasney Rooms, near Falmouth are hotel style bedrooms on the beautiful Penryn Campus which are exclusively available in July and August. Just a 10-minute drive from Falmouth and the beaches of the Cornish South Coast, clean, functional and affordable double or twin ensuite accommodation is offered. Penryn Campus, set on the 18th Century Tremough estate, is now a shared home for Falmouth University and the University of Exeter in Cornwall. Koofi, a licensed Pizzeria and Cafe, opens daily, offering a selection of hot and cold snacks and meals, Starbucks coffee and a selection of bottled beers and wines. There are also many restaurants and places to eat in the centre of Penryn and Falmouth. The 100 acre Penryn Campus is set amongst the historic gardens of Tremough House, an 18th century manor house. Visitors can take in the walled garden and orchard, herbaceous beds, sub-tropical planting, Italianate garden and terraces. Enjoy a stroll around the 18th Century lime avenue and the old drive with pinetum native woodlands, and see the historic rare Rhododendrons, cultivated on the site in the Victorian era. Now home to Falmouth University and the University of Exeter in Cornwall, the campus blends historic sub-tropical planting with newly created landscapes, forming stunning grounds that are a haven for a diverse range of plant and animal species. Penryn Campus Shop The Penryn Campus Shop is open daily for all your essential items. Koofi Cafe Koofi Cafe/bar serves Starbucks coffee, along with meals and snacks including handmade pizza. Koofi is also a licensed cafe so come along and enjoy a pizza and a glass of wine. Free WiFi, outdoor seating area. Sports Centre The modern sports centre includes a well equipped gym, with cardiovascular and free weights areas, fitness classes, court hire and outdoor multi use pitch also available. Laundry facilities Laundry facilities are available to you on site. Glasney Lodge Reception can issue you with a laundry card which enables you to top up on-line. You will be charged a small deposit and given details of the online link for instructions. The deposit will be refunded on return of the card. BBQ Areas There are BBQ areas nestled into the beautiful historic grounds, perfect for those lazy sunny evenings.

Arrival information

Directions By car : With SAT NAV use TR10 9AJ If you are travelling by car, the campus is located just off the A39, on Treliever Road. Follow signs to University Campus, well signposted off the roundabout. Car parking: is free and is a short distance from where you will be staying. When you arrive on campus, please follow the signs to Glasney Lodge (not main reception). It will be possible to park briefly, collect your key and drop your luggage off at your room. By train: If you are travelling by train, Penryn station is a very short distance away. You can walk from there to Old Lane, which brings you on to campus. Please be advised that there are some steps on this route. Follow signs to Glasney Lodge. By bus: If you are travelling by bus, it could not be easier as you will be brought right into the centre of campus. Follow the signs to the Glasney Lodge. From Falmouth Moor, you can catch the following buses: 2, 41, 68 and 88. All stop at Penryn train station.
