Built in 1894 and restored in 1992, the villa is built from stone. Many Victorian features are still present such as high ceilings, fireplaces, sash windows and cornicing. A fresh Full English breakfast, made with local ingredients, is served in the dining room. A mature garden with seating on the patio area for guests to relax. All bedrooms include the following facilities; Tea and coffee making facilities, TV, free W-iFi, hairdryers and laundry and Ironing facilities. he comfortable lounge has a modern plasma screen and satellite televison and the guests' library offers a large choice of books, including many on Scottish history.
