Newport Student Village is conveniently located in the centre of Newport and is only a short walk away from the University of South Wales' City Campus. All public transport, such as buses and trains, are easily accessible. Newport itself offers plenty of opportunities for shopping, eating out and various other leisure activities. Newport Leisure Centre is a 10-minute walk away and includes a state-of-the-art gym, pool and other sports facilities. Offering standard single and double ensuite rooms in clusters of 5, with spacious shared kitchen, dining and living areas, which are great for socialising. Bright and airy rooms with large windows, some of which offer views of River Usk.

Guests share self catering kitchens with fridge, freezer, electric hob, oven, extractor fan, microwave, kettle and toaster. Crockery, cutlery, glassware and all necessary cooking utensils are also available for guests use. Tea and coffee making faciliites are available in the kitchen area. Ensuite rooms include a large dedicated study area with desk, study chair, notice board, lamp, storage, internet point for free broadband connection. Wardrobe and book shelves, mirror, curtains and electric storage heater. Iron, ironing board, dust pan and brush are also available for guests use. On-site facilities include a large social space with Sky TV, Playstation, vending machines, football and pool tables and a movie room.
