Set in an early Edwardian Town House, the Mowbray is a 12 bedroom award winning 4 star property. It is located in one of the best locations in Eastbourne, situated opposite the famous Devonshire Park, and is within close proximity to the beach, theatres, town and only a short walk from the train station. The Mowbray is styled in a contemporary design with the building being continually renewed and refreshed by the owners, Darren and Laura Weir who were former Criminal Barristers. This work has paid off as the Mowbray has been awarded 4 Gold Stars from the AA and has won Les Routiers' Guest House of the Year on two occasions. Accommodation is available in a variety of room types including single, doubles, twins, family and superior bedrooms which include many facilities to make your stay comfortable while away from home.

Our Award Winning Breakfast is included in the daily rates. The property has a small bar which serves drinks throughout the day. Once closed there is an honesty bar available for guests to use as well as an ice cream freezer, and snacks available. There is a light bite menu available at various times though it is subject to availability. Home cooked dinners are also served from time to time. The Mowbray is a member of the EHA Tourism Passport scheme meaning that guests receive a discount book on arrival for discounts at various local restaurants and attractions. Wi-Fi is available through out. All rooms benefit from a Pillow Menu and have a full complimentary refreshment tray and bottled water, television with DVD player with a film library to borrow, toiletries and hairdryer. For younger guests a Playstation 2 is available for use from reception.
