Victoria Lodge Hotel, Shanklin

The Victoria Lodge is a family run hotel situated in Shanklin, central to all the amenities the beach town has to offer. The property has views of the sea from its lounge and breakfast rooms. Accommodation is available in 18 bedrooms. All are decorated in individual styles and all have ensuite facilities. Bedrooms are located on two floors with six bedrooms located on ground floor with access to the car park. Victoria Lodge is local to attractions, sandy beaches, the town, station, the old village, the Chine and coastal path.

The main House was built in 1865 and has been extended to provide the accommodation that is now offered. It has been family run by the current owners for over 10 years. Breakfast is included in the room price and consists of cereals, fruit juice, yoghurt, grapefruit segments - which is self-service. A cooked breakfast order will be taken by waiting-staff and served to the table which includes tea, coffee and toast. Vegetarian options are available - but unfortunately, the hotel is unable to cater for special diets. If guests suffer from food allergens or intolerances it is asked that details are provided at the time of booking. The Hotel is unable to provide lunch or dinner, however, there is a selection of cafe's and restaurants to suit every taste only a 10 minute walk away. A fully licensed bar is available for residents only which is open between 6.00pm and 11.00pm. The owners respectfully request that guests do not bring in hot or take-away food. Guests have use of the properties garden which has seating areas. If guests are arriving by car, on-site parking is available with additional free parking in Prospect Road. In the interest of guests, it is recommended that Holiday Cancellation Insurance is taken out.
